Sion All But Busts Schwartz

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jake Schwartz is down to less than two big blinds after a clash with British high-stakes cash game specialist Elior Sion.

Schwartz opened to 13,000 from the button, Nam Le folded from the small blind, but Elior Sion wasn't going to allow Schwartz to steal his big blind and he promptly made it 32,000 to play. Schwartz confirmed the raise amount before moving all-in. Sion checked his hole cards before making what looked to be a reluctant call.

Sion: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Schwartz: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

Sion's jacks stayed ahead of Schwartz's "Big Slick" on the {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and the {4-Hearts} turn and when the {8-Hearts} completed the board, Schwartz handed over all but 11,000 of his stack.

Augustine: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Jaconetti: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Jaconetti sent his stack soaring and Augustine to the rail.

Schwartz Wins Flip to Survive

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jake Schwartz moved all in for 110,000 and it folded to the big blind Darrell Tipton who asked for a count, had a little think and made the call.

Schwartz flipped over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and saw the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Tipton.
The board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to put a dent in Tipton’s stack and double up Schwartz.

Hwang Up

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Andy Hwang has suddenly acquired a pile of chips and a new lease of life. The first crucial hand saw Hwang four-bet shove 1200,000 into Tamara Tibbles who made the call with {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Hwang turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Tibbles was forced to admit it was a, “Nice hand.” before the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and she handed over the chips.

Not too long after that a preflop raising was with Ryan Jaconetti saw Hwang get the last word in with a raise to 140,000 and Jaconetti laid it down leaving his 60,000 in the pot.
