Captain Tom in Control

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

A short-stacked player moved all in from the hijack seat, the player on the button made the call, and Captain Tom Franklin called from the big blind. The flop came {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and Franklin check-called a bet of 500 from the player on the button. The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and Captain Tom open-shoved. The player in the button mucked his cards, showing a jack as he folded, and Franklin tabled {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The all in player turned over {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and walked away as he was drawing dead.

The Best Card in the Deck

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Chad Lewin called "no hearts" to the dealer. He had called the all-in bet on a flop of {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Lewin had got it in behind with his {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to his opponents {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, but he still had a few outs to win the hand. The turn card was a heart, but it was the best heart in the deck: the {5-Hearts}. He made a straight flush and his opponent was left with just one out now. He would have to find the {8-Hearts} in order to survive with a better straight flush, but the river was the {a-Clubs} and Lewin collected the pot.

Hunichen Busts Kling

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

A short stacked Chris Hunichen was all in for what looked like 1,600 chips and Lauren Kling made the all in call one seat over for her last 550 chips. All opponents folded and Kling flopped the nut flush with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} on a {5-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. Hunichen had {K-Spades}{5-Clubs} and improved with the {K-Hearts} and Kling was drawing dead. A meaningless {2-Hearts} on the river completed the board.

Tompkins Busts on a Cooler

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jason Tompkins got his stack in with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} versus {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and the {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} flop was pretty good for the Irishman. However, both the {J-Spades} turn and the {Q-Spades} river gave his opponent the nut flush instead and Tompkins was gone.

One hand later, Craig McCorkell raised to 300 from the button and called the all in of the player on the big blind for 2,200 with {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}. His opponent only had {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board was barely any threat.
