Drinan Has Heart

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A player in the cutoff seat open-shoved for just over 20,000 and action folded around to Connor Drinan in the big blind. Not taking long, Drinan made the call putting his opponent at risk.

Drinan: {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Drinan was ahead going into the flop but, after the dealer rolled out {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Drinan found himself behind. The turn {5-Hearts} gave Drinan a bunch of outs to the river and he would get there as the {10-Hearts} fell to give Drinan a flush and the pot.
