An Unlikely Out for Loeser

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After Norbert Szecsi opened for 26,000, Manig Loeser crammed it all in for 274,000 in the cutoff. John Dolan woke up with a reship from the blinds, forcing Szecsi out, and he and Loeser turned over their holdings:

Dolan: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Loeser: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The two were racing, and the {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} was a comfortable flop for Dolan. The {3-Clubs} turn made him a full house, but the {3-Diamonds} river counterfeited him, and Loeser's ace-high was the nuts.

Queens Up for Price

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Oliver Price and Norbert Szecsi checked to Jean Gaspard on a {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, and he fired 54,000 from the button. Price was the only taker, and he check-called another 74,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn. Both players checked the {2-Clubs} river, and Gaspard mucked to Price's {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Jeremy Kottler Eliminated in 15th Place ($34,413)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Jeremy Kottler - 15th Place
Jeremy Kottler - 15th Place

Jeremy Kottler got the last 78,000 in before the flop on the button, and Oliver Price made the call out of the small blind.

Kottler: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Price: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Nothing emerged in Kottler's favor on the {4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board, and the Brit notched a knockout.

Tony Gargano Eliminated in 16th Place ($27,510)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Tony Gargano - 16th Place
Tony Gargano - 16th Place

Tony Gargano shoved for 155,000 over an under-the-gun raise from Josh Arieh on his right. Arieh called.

Arieh: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Gargano: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Arieh was dominated, but the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop turned him into a massive favorite, as it left Gargano with one out. He didn't find the miracle on the {j-Hearts} turn or {7-Diamonds} river.

Tom Bedell Eliminated in 17th Place ($27,510)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Tom Bedell - 17th Place
Tom Bedell - 17th Place

Jeremy Kottler raised it to 28,000 in middle position, and Josh Arieh made the call from the hijack. Tom Bedell jammed for 171,000 in the cutoff, and Kottler called. Arieh then surprised Kottler by shipping it over the top for 660,000. Kottler went deep into the tank, thinking for about four minutes before deciding to call most of his stack off.

Arieh: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Kottler: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Bedell: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Arieh faded his opponents' sets as the board came {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, and he raked in a massive pot, busting Bedell and cripping Kottler.

Bohn Makes a Move

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Blake Bohn opened to 27,000 in middle position, and John Dolan reraised to 69,000 in the next spot. Bohn decided to see the flop, which brought {7-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Dolan checked it back, and Bohn checked again on the {k-Diamonds} turn. Dolan bet 76,000, but Bohn slid out two towers of orange T5,000 chips along with a few extras: 203,000. Dolan folded, and Bohn tabled {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a mere gutshot.
