Earl Merritt shoved for 460,000 from under the gun with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Paul Mattioda looked him up from the next seat over with {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The board ran out {J-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} as Mattioda faded Merritt's flopped flush draw to score the elimination.

The following hand saw Neville Endo Costa shove from early postion for about 600,000 with {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Mattioda called from the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. The board rolled out {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} as Mattioda faded another flopped flush draw to win the pot.

Gustafsson Five-Bet Shoves

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Phani Ramineni opened to 160,000 from middle position and Robert Gustafsson three-bet the cutoff to 355,000. With the action on Mathew Frankland on the button, he four-bet to 670,000 as Ramineni quickly folded.

With the action back on Gustafsson, he went into the tank for several minutes before moving all in for roughly 2.6 million to force an insta-fold from Frankland.

The Swede is now sitting with roughly 3.87 million in chips.
