Kings For Wong

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Brandon Wong and Sergey Rybachenko just got tangled up in a pot which was raised by the latter before the flop. Wong three-bet and Rybachenko made the call.

The flop brought out {5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Rybachenko check-called a bet. On the turn, the {6-Spades}, the same process repeated itself and on the river, the {7-Spades}, too.

Wong turned over {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} and he raked in this pot.

Melissa Burr
Melissa Burr

Melissa Burr, who became the first woman to ever cash in the $50,000 Players' Championship this week. just won a nice hand against Mike Watson.

On a {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop Watson check-called a bet and on the turn, the {Q-Clubs}, and the river, the {J-Spades}, he did the same thing. Burr flipped up {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and her straight took this pot down.

Prop Betting Action with Esfandiari

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

Yakov Hirsch has been talking more than the entire Monster Stack field combined, and Antonio Esfandiari's happy to interact with him.

Hirsch and Esfandiari, who's a known prop bettor on all sorts of random stuff, have been going back and forth on lots of different bets, and just now the following was going on.

Hirsch said that he would set a line on his own age and Esfandiari would have to guess if it was either over or under. The bet would be for $2,000 and after two minutes Hirsch set the line at 47.

Esfandiari pondered, and pondered, and eventually he suggested to up the bet.

"I almost want to bet more," Esfandiari smiled, and asked Hirsch if he wanted to bet more.

"How about $5k," Hirsch said.

Esfandiari paused, and he clearly wasn't ready to bet that much on this single prop bet.

The two settled on $3,000 and Esfandiari guessed the under, after which Hirsch yelled, "Wrong!"

Hirsch grabbed his ID and showed that he was indeed 48 and collected the money. Esfandiari seemed very sure of himself and our best guess is that these two gentleman will wager a lot more money the later it gets.

Akkari Gets Some Back

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Andre Akkari raised and Yakov Hirsch, who was paying more attention to the prop betting with Antonio Esfandiari, accidentally three-bet.

The action folded back to Akkari who made the call.

The flop showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Akkari checked.

"I'll bite," Hirsch said as he bet, and Akkari called.

On the turn the {K-Diamonds} hit and Akkari check-called another bet. The river was the {J-Spades} and both players checked. Akkari showed {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and he raked in this pot.
