Freddie Ellis just knocked out Paul Volpe and his huge stack keeps on growing. Volpe was all in for just 1,500 chips when five other players decided to take a chance at winning this pot.
"Let's just check it down and make sure he gets knocked out," one of the players said, as the others started laughing.
"I tried to keep you in the game," Brian Hastings responded with a smile as he was one of the two players not going to fourth street.
On fourth street all players checked and on fifth it was Ellis who paired up. Ellis bet and one player called. On sixth street Ellis bet again when he hit three of a kind and he was called once more. Seventh street was played out in a friendlier manner as both players checked.
Ellis won the pot with three of a kind and he's the first player to cross the six digits mark. He showed and Volpe's did not connect with his board to keep his tournament hopes alive.
