Bad Day at the Office for Hill

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

After a good start, Mike Hill was all in with pocket tens against {K-}{4-} on a seven-high flop and the opponent with middle pair got a king on the turn. Hill never recovered from that, waiting patiently for a spot to get his stack in. {A-}{7-} seemed appropriate, however an opponent looked him up with {A-}{10-} and that was it for the Brit.

Puchkov Lays Down the Turn

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

We noticed a four-way limped pot to the {5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop that got checked through. On the {4-Clubs} turn, the initial raiser bet 450 and Konstantin Puchkov three-bet to 1,000. The player in the small blind squeezed to 2,200 and all opponents folded. They got shown {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades} and the initial raiser said "that's what I want to see", cheering for the bluff that got through.

Alt Drops

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Tom Hall just registered and Leo Margets also sat down in the blue section, the Spaniard is on her second bullet for the day.

Dinesh Alt dropped below starting stack after calling 1,200 on the {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{A-Clubs} flop before checking the {4-Hearts} turn. On the {2-Clubs} river his opponent moved all in for 1,475 with {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Alt called, unable to beat the top pair.

Karlic Doubles in Last Hand

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

In the last hand of the previous break, we spotted Gerald Karlic all in for 3,000 on the river of a {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} board. He called a bet on the flop and turn {900) before moving all in for a pot-sized bet on the river with the over pair. His opponent called with {A-Hearts}{J-} and shipped over the chips.

Late Reg Tables in Purple

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

There are about 10 tables left in Amazon Purple that are used for the late registrants and among those we did find Heinz Kamutzki, who had a decent start so far.

Hawkins Da Man

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Maurice Hawkins is up to a very healthy 28,500 chips and most of them came from a fortunate situation that saw him getting it in after a {Q-Clubs}{Q-}{9-Clubs} flop. Hawkins held {Q-}{3-} and played versus {Q-}{J-} and {A-}{K-}. The turn provided a three and Hawkins got the monster pot.

Hammered Out

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

The seat of Thomas Butzhammer in the blue section was occupied by someone else and thus we can be fairly certain that he has been eliminated. Instead, Alain Medesan is on the same table with an above average stack.

Federik Jensen had a short stack at risk in a three-way pot that saw him check down the {J-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts} board. Jensen had {A-}{9-} and the short stack was beat with {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, but the third player scooped the 2,500 pot with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.
