We missed the hand, but Lee Davy sent us a message about how he lost some chips. He opened with pocket sevens from under the gun and got one caller in the big blind.

On the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, the player in the big blind check-called 150 and did so again after the {J-Clubs} turn for 350. On the {4-Diamonds} river, the player in the big blind moved all in for 2,800 and the Welshman folded.

At the same table, Yuliyan Kolev has sat down in Seat 1 and has thus reentered the competition.

Aces For Athanasios

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

Athanasios Polychronopoulos picked up a small pot when a short-stacked player had the misfortune of putting his last 1,300 chips in with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} when Polychronopoulos held {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. The flop would come {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} to all but lock up the hand for the pro, and the turn and river of {6-Spades} and {4-Hearts} would seal his opponent's fate.

Baldwin Gets Value

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

We got to the table with the board showing {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and slightly less than 3,000 in the pot. Eric Baldwin made a bet of 2,300 and found one taker. The third player in the hand folded and Baldwin turned over {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} which would lead his one opponent to muck his hand.
