Martin Jacobson had the button, and he raised to 2.7 million. Jorryt van Hoof reraised to 8.2 million from the big blind, returning the favor of three-betting that Jacobson did to him on the first hand of the day. Jacobson folded, and van Hoof scooped the pot.

Chip leader Jorryt van Hoof had the button to start off Day 9 — the final day of the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Van Hoof raised to 2.6 million to kick things off. Martin Jacobson was in the small blind and took his time before reraising to 8 million. After Felix Stephensen folded from the big blind, van Hoof took a few moments, then folded.
