Runner-Runner Hurts Wolf

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Three players took a flop of {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, including Laurence Wolf who is fresh off of a win in the Borgata Summer Poker Open and a runner-up finish in the Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship.

All three players checked, and the turn was the {7-Hearts}. Wolf checked, one opponent bet 600, and both players called.

The river was a second seven - the {7-Diamonds} - and Wolf checked again. The player who bet on the turn tossed out another 2,800, the man in the middle folded, and Wolf quickly called. The player turned over {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for nines full of sevens, and Wolf showed a lesser full house; {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Salsberg Straightened Out

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player limped in on the button, Matt Salsberg raised out of the small blind, and Zakeri Behman called in the big blind. The button limper called as well, and Salsberg led out for 1,100 on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Only Behman called.

The turn was the {9-Spades}, Salsberg check-called a bet of 1,500 from Behman, and the {k-Diamonds} completed the board.

Salsberg checked, the player tossed out 3,000, and Salsberg tanked for roughly 90 seconds before calling. Behman rolled over {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a straight and was pushed the pot.

Litvinov Flops It

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

We joined the action to see Artem Litvinov all in on the river for 27,250 of a board reading {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}. His opponent had called and Litvinov showed him the {5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flopped straight to get a double up and leave his opponent, who mucked his cards, short.

Litvinov often likes to be the table captain and the center of attention, but right now it is impossible for anyone to get a word in edgewise as Little Drop for One Drop runner-up Theodore Driscoll has barely paused to breathe. He informed the table that he had just in fact had a congratulatory text from All American Dave. Headphones are a popular choice at this table.

Miller Mucks

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ryan Miller and an opponent were heads up on a flop of {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}, and Miller's opponent check-called a bet of 1,700.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}, the player check-called another 4,300, and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. The player checked, Miller checked behind, and his opponent tabled {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for kings and queens.

Miller shook his head and mucked.
