Eighty-Six is Good for Fricke

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Razz

Scott Abrams: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{8-}{10-}{Q-} / {X-}
Aaron Schaff: {X-}{X-} / {7-}{4-}{J-}{7-} / {X-} - fold
Jimmy Fricke: {4-}{5-}{8-} / {A-}{9-}{9-}{6-}

Scott Abrams completed and Aaron Schaff and Jimmy Fricke came along. Schaff led out on fourth, earning two calls and Abrams took the lead with his ten-high board on fifth. Sixth street was bet by Fricke and all three went to the river where Fricke fired one more time. Abrams called and Schaff let his hand go.

"Eighty-six," Fricke announced, and Abrams confirmed that it was good.

The turn landed the {2-Hearts} and after a Loeser check, Ohel bet 1,600. Loeser called, and the river landed the {9-Spades}.

Vitch Quartered by Leah on the River

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante
Chris Vitch
Chris Vitch

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Chris Vitch and Mike Leah were on the river of the {K-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} board with a hefty pot already in the middle. Vitch had a bet of what looked to be 5,000 in front of him and Leah raised. Vitch said, "Just call."

"Nut low and straight," Leah announced, showing {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Vitch learned he got quartered badly as he himself had {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the nut now and flopped trips. He had to leave three-quarters of the big pot to his opponent and continued with roughly 20,000 while Leah now has 69,000.

John Hennigan
John Hennigan

Stud

John Hennigan came back with the chip lead and he seems to have picked up where he left off. Hennigan has already climbed to 125,000 after adding some more chips to his stack in a hand against Patrice Biton.

John Hennigan: {X-}{X-} / {9-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Patrice Biton: {X-}{X-} / {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} - fold

Biton bet on fourth street and Hennigan called but fifth street looked to be a perfect connection to Hennigan's board which now included three Broadway cards. Hennigan bet and Biton gave up.
