Hall Sliding

Level 31 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Galen Hall
Galen Hall

Galen Hall raised to 10,000 from the button and Jason McConnon called from the big blind.

The flop was {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and McConnon check-called 12,000 from Hall. The turn was the {A-Diamonds}, both players checked, and the {J-Clubs} river completed the board. McConnon bet 16,000 and Hall called after a few moments.

McConnon tabled {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, Hall showed {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a defeated pair of tens (mentioning that a diamond river would have been disastrous), and McConnon won the pot.

McGovern Fighting Back

Level 31 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Mark McGovern is fighting back to Scott Seiver. McGovern just won a hand without showdown where he opened to 10,000 and got called by Seiver.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Seiver check-called a 15,000 bet by McGovern.

Seiver took the lead with a bet of 12,000 on the {7-Spades} turn and McGovern was the player to call this time.

Seiver slowed down again with a check on the {6-Clubs} river, but McGovern bet out 50,000. Seiver eventually folded and the pot went to McGovern.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

(Blinds 2,000/4,000)

After a successful three-bet from 10,000 to 48,000 earned a fold, Justin Bonomo preserved his narrow lead after the next three-bet resulted in a four-bet shove by Niall Farrell.

Farrell raised to 10,000 and Bonomo three-bet to 48,000 once more. Farrell jammed for 384,000 and Bonomo snap-called.

Niall Farrell: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Justin Bonomo: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board came {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Farrell became the first casualty of the day, securing the min-cash of $31,086 and sending Farrell home empty-handed.

Martini Doubles Into Commanding Lead

Level 32 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

(Blinds 2,000/4,000)

Midway through the level, Julien Martini raised to 9,000 and Jan-Eric Schwippert three-bet to 39,000, Martini four-bet to 81,000 and Schwippert called.

On the {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop both players checked and Schwippert then bet the {5-Spades} turn for 79,000, Martini called. The {9-Spades} appeared on the river and Schwippert moved all in, Martini called and was shown {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a bluff gone wrong. Martini had {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for trip nines and doubled for 212,700. Right after, the duo was moved over to the main feature table and will resume play shortly.
