Johnson Over Miller

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Big O

Marco Johnson and Ryan Miller each had 30,000 in front of them in a battle of the blinds on {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Johnson potted the river for 60,000 and Miller was in the tank. He slid in a call.

"Aces up and nut low," Johnson said, showing {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for aces and eights.

Miller mucked with a sigh.

Martin and Couden Battle With Ugly Boards

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Razz

Jesse Martin completed with a four and Joey Couden raised with an ace right behind him. Martin continued and caught good while Couden caught paint. They both caught bad on fifth when Martin paired.

Martin: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{2-}{4-}
Couden: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{j-}{10-}

Martin bet again but Couden wouldn't go away. When Martin caught a {q-} and Couden a {k-}, the latter came out betting and Martin called. Couden then check-called the end but couldn't beat {8-}{6-}{a-} for an eight-low.
