Christner Eliminated

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On a {k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board, Christian Christner moved all in and was called by Antonio Lievano.

Christner held {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush draw, but was up against a better flush draw from Lievano who held {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Lievano also had a straight draw which blocked Christner's potential outs.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river the {6-Spades}. "That's the best hand you could have seen," someone at the table said to Lievano.

Obst Outed by Loeser

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
James Obst
James Obst

The flop read {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the pot already contained about 23,000. Manig Loeser had checked his small blind and James Obst bet 7,000. Loeser checked out Obst's stack and raised to 19,000. Obst called.

The turn brought them the {9-Spades}, Loeser looked at Obst's stack again and then bet around 120,000. Obst closed his eyes while also trying to enjoy his massage and considered his options. In the end, he called.

James Obst: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Manig Loeser: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Loeser flopped trip tens to grab Obst's bounty.

Saout Doubles Through Bicknell; Papazian Gone

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

Unsurprisingly, the action is moving at a frenetic pace in this one-day event. Saout, after just doubling up, doubled up again at the expense of Kristen Bicknell. Bicknell had a bet of 22,000 in front of her, Saout shoved 95,000 and Bicknell called it off with a shrug.

Saout's {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} was ahead from start to finish against Bicknell's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} on a {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} board, which left the two-time bracelet winner short stacked.

At another table, Marc Macdonnell raised to 8,000 and received a call. Alex Papazian three-bet shoved 22,000, Macdonnell isolated and got it heads-up.

Alex Papazian: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Marc Macdonnell: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The window card was the {J-Spades} to pair Macdonnell's kicker and end Papazian's attempt at another bracelet.

Saout Busts a Player

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

A player moved all in for 7,000 from under the gun. He got two callers before Saout three-bet all in over the top for 65,000. The two callers folded.

All-in Player: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Antoine Saout: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Saout's pair of eights was enough to send his opponent to the rail, meaning he picked up a $3,000 bounty.

Bounties for Hellmuth and Young; Hall and Andress Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Cate Hall
Cate Hall

Justin Young made himself $3,000 richer after scooping up Cate Hall's last few chips in an unknown confrontation. At another table, Phil Hellmuth also collected a bounty to move up to 235,000 in chips.

Holding {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, Hellmuth was all in against a shorter stacked John Andress with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Three hearts arrived on the board to improve the 14-time WSOP bracelet winner to the best hand.

Jeff Gross

Jeff Gross was all-in for about 55,000 from mid-position and called by Arne Ruge in the small blind with the bigger stack.

Jeff Gross: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Arne Ruge: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} - no help for Gross and his bounty went into Ruge's pocket while he made his way out of the tournament area.

Young Cracks Aces to Triple

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Justin Young moved all in for 33,500 from under the gun. Dylan Linde was in middle position and three-bet all in for 53,500. A third player then four-bet all in, covering both players.

Justin Young: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Dylan Linde: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Player 3: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} meaning Young's set gave him a triple up, while Linde lost out slightly but stays alive.

Hallaert Keeps Getting More

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Kenny Hallaert raised to 7,000 from the button. Kristen Bicknell looked at her cards and folded but Dylan Linde wasn't going away. He glanced at Hallaert's raise and decided to three-bet to 25,000. Hallaert deliberated his options and then called.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Linde continued with a bet of 14,000 and Hallaert called.

They both checked through the {2-Spades} to the {q-Hearts} on the river on which they both checked again. Linde tabled {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} but the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Hallaert beat it as he had rivered a higher pair.
