Winner Justin Bonomo

A total of 170 runners are set to begin play at 2 p.m. today during Event #20: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em. One of those players to take a seat is none other than Justin Bonomo, who is currently fourth in chips and has been having a historic year in every aspect. He Captured his second bracelet just earlier this week in Event #16: $10,000 Heads-Up Championship. Look for him to be making a splash on Day 2 and don't be surprised if he emerges near the top.

At the end of Day 1, there were 499 entries and players will still have until the beginning of today for late registration. The prizepool and payouts will be announced as soon as the day begins. The chip leaders coming out of the first day include Daniel Colpoys (403,000), Richard Tuhrim (229,600), Jeremy Cate (180,000), Seth Davies (175,300), and two-time bracelet winner Kristen Bicknell (170,800).

The runners will be playing ten 60-minute levels and those remaining will be moving on to Day 3. There will be a 15-minute break coming after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after the sixth level of play. The tournament will resume at level 11 with the blinds beginning at 600/1,200 with a 1,200 big blind ante.
