Schwarmann Takes from Jozonis

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Nick Schwarmann and Tomas Jozonis were heads up on the {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop. Schwarmann checked to Jozonis who bet 8,000 into a main pot of about 15,000 and Jozonis called. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and Schwarmann slid out a stack of 43,000.

Jozonis asked the dealer to count the bet. After verifying the amount he thought about it before he tossed his hand into the muck, and Schwarmann took the pot without showdown.

Taylor Friebaugh raised to 3,500 from middle position and Phil Hellmuth moved all in for 12,800 from the button. It folded back to Friebaugh who called and the hands were shown.

Taylor Friebaugh: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Phil Hellmuth: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The dealer fanned the {9-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and it was no help to Hellmuth. The turn brought the {10-Spades} improving Friebaugh to a set of tens and giving Hellmuth both straight and flush draws.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Hellmuth knuckled the table as the pot was shipped to Friebaugh. "Nice hand," said Hellmuth as he made his way to the payout line.

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Over the raise of James Anderson, Sheng Xie moved all in for 38,600. It folded back to Anderson who called turning over {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Xie tabled {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Xie failed to improve on the {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} runout and Anderson earned the pot and the elimination.
