Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Anthony Profeta opened from the button to 35,000 and Hossein Guivehchi in the big blind made the call.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} Guivehchi check-called Profeta's bet of 45,000. The same action happened on the {a-Clubs} turn, but this time for 65,000.

On the {6-Spades} river, Guivehchi fired a huge bet worth 200,000, and after some consideration, Profeta made the call.

Guivehchi showed {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a missed straight and Profeta grabbed the pot with {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Kerby Doubles Through Benjamen

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, Alex Benjamen raised from the small, Hillery Kerby jammed from the big for 125,000, and Benjamen called to put him at risk.

Alex Benjamen: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Hillery Kerby: {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Kerby was racing for his stack and needed to improve to win. He took the lead on the {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, then the {K-Clubs} turn and {A-Hearts} river meant Kerby would take the pot playing his eight-kicker to double up.

Lightbourne Doubles Through Gordon

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Iaron Lightbourne
Iaron Lightbourne

Iaron Lightbourne got his stack of 199,000 all in preflop holding {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} against the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Josh Gordon.

The dealer spread the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and Gordon picked up a gutshot straight draw to go along with his overcards. But the turn {2-Clubs} and river {9-Diamonds} were no help to Gordon, and Lightbourne doubled up.

Canadeo Out

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Alex Benjamen in late position opened to 35,000 and Joseph Canadeo pushed all in for 287,000. Benjamen made the call and the players tabled their cards:

Joseph Canadeo: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Alex Benjamen: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Canadeo was in bad shape to double-up and the board {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} didn't change anything, improving Benjamen to a set of queens. Canadeo is out, while Benjamen now has a huge stack of more than 1,200,000 chips.

Sekhar got out of the way and the hands were shown. Leinenbach turned over {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, but Razavi showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. The board ran out clean for Razavi — {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} — and his pocket aces held up to earn him the pot.
