Messmer Gets a Fold From Mackey

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

There were about 550,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{J-Spades} when we got to the table. Aaron Messmer bet 265,000 from the big blind into his lone opponent, James Mackey, who was in the cutoff. Mackey called.

The {6-Clubs} fell on the river and Messmer bet again, 575,000 this time. After some thought, Mackey folded and the dealer pushed the pot Messmer's way.

Massey Coolers Nahum to Stack Him

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded around to Kfir Nahum in the cutoff and he shoved for what looked like 185,000. Ralph Massey called from the small blind to put him at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Kfir Nahum: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Ralph Massey: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

Nahum's kings were second best and he needed help from the deck to survive. Massey made a set on the {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, leaving Nahum all but hopeless. The {9-Spades} turn and {2-Hearts} river weren't the miracle cards Nahum needed, so Massey took the pot to end his run in this event.

Loeser Eliminates Lee

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Bryce McVay raised to 65,000 from the cutoff and Manig Loeser called from the button. Michael Souza called from the small blind and Stanley Lee moved all in for 1,081,000 from the big blind.

McVay quickly folded, and with the action back on Loeser, he re-shoved all in for about 1,700,000. Souza gave it some thought before folding and the hands were shown.

Manig Loeser: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Stanley Lee: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The dealer spread the {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and Lee's pocket sixes maintained the lead. The turn brought the {q-Clubs} and Manig paired his queen to take control of the hand. Lee needed a river six to stay alive, but the {j-Clubs} river card was no help to Lee.

Loeser dragged in the pot and Lee's impressive MILLIONAIRE MAKER run has come to an end.
