Akkari Sent to the Rail by O'Dell

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Frankie O'Dell raised from the hijack seat and Andre Akkari raised from the button. Action folded back to O'Dell who raised enough to put Akkari all in and Akkari called for the rest of his stack.

On the first draw O'Dell took two and Akkari took two as well. On the second draw both players drew two again. For the last draw, O'Dell stood pat. Akkari thought for about 15 seconds before drawing one.

Frankie O'Dell: {10-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}
Andre Akkari: {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}

Akkari was live still and he could draw a two, three, five, or eight to stay alive but his final card was a {6-} and that would send him to the rail with O'Dell collecting his chips.

One player was all in on third street against Cliff Joseph and one other player.

Cliff Josephy: {x-}{x-}/{8-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}/{x-}
Opponent 1: {x-}{x-}/{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades}/{x-}
All-In Player: {x-}{x-}/{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}/{x-}

Josephy bet on streets four, five, six, and seven, and he was called each time by his other opponent in the hand. On seventh, Josephy showed down his {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{3-Spades} which earned a muck from his one opponent for the side pot, and was good enough to beat his other opponent {A-}{Q-}{9-} for the main pot as well.

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

James Obst completed holding the {K-Clubs} and he found calls from four players including Carol Fuchs. Obst bet on fourth street, but only Fuchs called.

On fifth street, Obst bet again and Fuchs called. On sixth, Obst finally slowed down and checked. Fuchs bet and Obst called. Both players checked on seventh.

Carol Fuchs: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}/{x-}

Staszko Doubles Through Baker

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Matt Grapenthien opened with a raise to 225 from the cutoff before David "Bakes" Baker called from the button. Martin Staszko called from the big blind and the three took a flop.

The flop was {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Staszko checked. Grapenthien bet 400. Bakes called and Martin Staszko then moved all in for 2,100. Grapenthien folded but Baker quickly called and their hands were tabled.

David Baker: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}
Martin Staszko: {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Baker flopped two pair but he was in trouble as Staszko had flopped a flush. The turn was the {2-Spades} pairing the board and giving Baker a few more outs but the river was the {Q-Hearts} not changing anything. That allowed Staszko to double while Baker dropped under 10,000 chips.
