Dario Sammartino raised to 45,000 and John Hennigan three-bet to 150,000. Sammartino called and both players drew one card.
Sammartino moved all in and Hennigan folded.
Sammartino then raised to 45,000 and Mike Wattel called. James Alexander moved all in for 287,000 on the button. Sammartino followed the blinds into the muck but Wattel needed to think. He mucked as well and Alexander took it down.
James Alexander moved all in from under the gun for 132,000. It folded around to Farzad Bonyadi in the big blind who called and was all in. Both players drew one.

Bonyadi drew a and Alexander rubbed his card for luck before flipping a

John Hennigan opened under the gun for 42,000 and got called by both blinds. Shawn Sheikhan took one, Dario Sammartino two, and Hennigan one. Sheikhan came out firing with 150,000. Sammartino considered briefly and mucked but Hennigan called fairly quickly.

Shawn Sheikhan raised to 65,000 and John Hennigan moved all in from the cutoff for 177,000. Despite the price, Sheikhan let his hand go, so Hennigan added a big chunk to his stack without having to be at risk.
Doyle Brunson raised to 45,000 and Dario Sammartino called. Both players drew one and Brunson continued for 72,000. Sammartino raised to 250,000 and, after some thought, Brunson folded.
"Now would be a good time to show something," said Shawn Sheikhan. Sammartino flashed an and took down the pot, moving up to second in chips behind Mike Wattel.
James Alexander opened for 50,000 second to act and Doyle Brunson made it 125,000. Alexander called and took a card, while Brunson patted. Alexander checked and Brunson bet 150,000, enough to put Alexander all in if he were to call. However, he raised his cards up and mucked them with a sigh.
"I knew I was drawing thin," he said.
Shawn Sheikhan raised to 50,000 and James Alexander called. Both players drew one.
Alexander check-called a bet of 50,000, but lost out to a bet of 
of Sheikhan.
