Dobson and Meyers Heads-Up

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante
Brandon Meyers
Brandon Meyers

Brandon Meyers and Ben Dobson have been playing heads-up for a while already and the chips seem to be going back and forth between them.

Meyers limped in and Dobson opted to check.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Spades}, Dobson check-called the 700 bet of Meyers.

The turn brought them the {5-Diamonds}, now Dobson check-called the 2,500 bet of Meyers.

They both checked when the {a-Diamonds} on the river completed the board. Dobson tabled {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} and that was more than enough to make Meyers muck his hand.

James Obst: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Aymon Hata: {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The flop came down {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Hata needed to go runner-runner straight or flush. The {7-Hearts} on the turn sealed the double for Obst and Hata was drawing dead to the {4-Hearts} on the river.
