Weich Eliminated on the Last Hand Before the Break

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Al Barbieri: {10-}{2-}{A-} / {2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Robert Ferdinand: {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Edward Weich: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} / {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}

With action on seventh street, Edward Weich was already all in while Al Barbieri bet to a side pot. Robert Ferdinand called and the cards went up.

"Tens up," Barbieri announced before rolling over his cards. Ferdinand asked which was Barbieri's other pair.

"Tens and deuces," Barbieri said and Ferdinand opened his better two pair, showing tens and sevens.

Barbieri sighed and Weich walked away in disappointment as his pair of kings couldn't keep him in the tournament.

Fleck and Cole At It Again

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Katherine Fleck
Katherine Fleck

Katherine Fleck and Scott Cole were both in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, which Cole bubbled and Fleck finished 16th, and they ended up on the same table right now. Several hands saw them go at each other and it was no surprise to see them in action again.

Katherine Fleck: {X-}{X-} / {2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {X-}
Scott Cole: {X-}{X-} / {K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs} / {X-}

Two bets were already in to sixth and Cole bet, Fleck called. Both ended up checking on seventh and Cole showed {K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for kings and fours. "I had a lot of outs and missed," Fleck said and sent her cards into the muck.

Cole chipped up soon after to get both at almost even stacks.

Rossi Has Two Diamonds

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Esther Rossi: {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} / {4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {8-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Esther Rossi was calling a bet on fifth street when we arrived. A third diamond card landed on her board but both players slowed down, checking. Rossi fired on the river and her opponent reached to his chip-stack: "I'll pay you," he said and so he did.

"Flush," Rossi declared when she rolled over her hole cards. She earned the pot and climbed over 40,000 in chips.

Brown Takes From Ferdinand

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Robert Ferdinand: {X-}{X-} / {K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} / {X-}
Ronnie Brown: {X-}{X-} / {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} / {X-}

Picking up the action on fourth, Ronnie Brown bet with a king-four showing and Robert Ferdinand called with a pair of treys. Brown bet again fifth and was raised, which he called. Ferdinand bet sixth when the action checked to him and Brown called before checking again to Ferdinand on seventh. A bet and a call followed and Ferdinand rolled over {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for trip treys, Brown had that beat with {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a flush and won a decent pot.

Assorted Counts; Enright Eliminated

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Among to those to bust recently were Barbara Enright and Leveo Sperotto. Enright's cards were all but rushed away and she couldn't beat the two pair, tens and fours, of her opponent. Sperotto was up against a set of jacks of Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and failed to get there, bowing out as well.

Kalicka Hits a Straight, Almost Triples Up

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Jeffrey Kalicka: {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} / {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Jeff Lisandro: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Robert Ferdinand: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Jeff Lisandro led out to the pot that initially featured five players. Two of them gave up on fourth but Jeffrey Kalicka and Robert Ferdinand called.

Lisandro hit a third Broadway card on fifth and continued betting and Kalicka opted to raise. Ferdinand wasn't going anyway and Lisandro called as well. They called another bet on sixth and Kalicka then checked the river where he had only 4,200 left.

"Straight," he announced and quickly reshuffled his seven-card hand in a ranking order to show his rivals a nine-high straight. Ferdinand and Lisandro both mucked and Kalicka significantly improved his stack.

Troy Topples Zeidman With a Straight Flush

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Maxwell Troy
Maxwell Troy

David Levi and another player were in the hand when a four-way pot was checked through on fourth, however it continued heads-up between Cory Zeidman and Maxwell Troy with the following cards showing.

Cory Zeidman: {X-}{X-} / {3-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} / {X-}
Maxwell Troy: {X-}{X-} / {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / {X-}

Zeidman had completed and picked up three callers before four players checked through on fourth. Troy paired his king and bet, only Zeidman called and did so again on fifth and sixth. Troy checked seventh and Zeidman bet, Troy raised and Zeidman called.

Troy announced a straight flush and turned over the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} while Zeidman was stunned. "Are you kidding me? Running cards?" and showed his {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Spades} for the spades nut flush to fall all the way down to one big bet, the remaining few chips vanished shortly after.
