Ann Bloom's Day is Done

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Robert Campbell completed and Ann Bloom raised.

"We can just get it in," Bloom said when it folded back to Campbell. Indeed, he made it 6,000 to go and then called when Bloom reraise all in for 6,500 total.

Bloom: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} / {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs} / {K-Diamonds}
Campbell: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {3-Diamonds}

Bloom ended with kings and jacks but it was no good as Campbell made aces and queens.

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Dzmitry Urbanovich: {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} / {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Ben Yu: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} / {4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades}{3-Spades}

Ben Yu completed and Dzmitry Urbanovich raised with a king. Yu called and kept calling on the following streets as Urbanovich fried three more shells until he checked back the river. Yu made just a pair of nines and conceded the pot to Urbanovich who had a pair of kings.

Brown Tries to Bluff Barbieri Off Kings

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Al Barbieri was dealt the {2-Clubs} and he was heads-up to fourth street, tangling with Ron Brown. Barbieri fired when he hit a king and another king landed on his board when Brown called. Brown then called on fifth and sixth where his board showed paired sixes. Brown tried to steal the pot, betting the river but Barbieri quickly called as he had {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} in the hole.

Al Barbieri: {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} / {2-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}
Ron Brown: {7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts} / {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Andrew Van Dervolgen Trips Up Barbara Enright

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Andrew Van Dervolgen completed showing a king and Barbara Enright called with her queen. She then bet 1,000 when she took the lead on fourth and Van Dervolgen called.

Enright bet 2,000 on fifth and Van Dervolgen called, and on sixth she check-called a bet of 2,000. That action repeated itself on seventh.

Van Dervoglen: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs} / {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Enright: {X-}{X-} / {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} / {X-}

Van Dervoglen tabled trip kings and it was good as Enright scooped up her cards and mucked.

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

With around 20,000 already in the middle, Ben Yu and Dzmitry Urbanovich made it to sixth street. Yu's board included three consecutive cards and he bet. Urbanovich tanked for just under a minute and then decided to release his hand. He's now dropped to seven big bets.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: {X-}{X-} / {2-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} - fold
Ben Yu: {X-}{X-} / {8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

John Kei was betting on third and fourth streets but he paused when Andrew Van Dervolgen raised. Kei called but sixth street gave Van Dervolgen and open-ender along with a third spade card and Kei knew he was in trouble.

"Oh, man!" he said and folded when Van Dervolgen fired.

Andrew Van Dervongen: {X-}{X-} / {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Anthony Farrell completed and only Adam Friedman, who is fresh off winning his second bracelet, made the call. Friedman then called a bet of 1,000 on fourth and Farrell bet 2,000 on fifth.

Friedman raised it to 4,000 and then called when Farrell moved all in for 900 more.

Friedman: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Farrell: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Friedman had rolled up fives that improved to a full house. That left Farrell in need of major help, but he didn't get it on the dry runout:

Friedman: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} / {9-Spades}
Farrell: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} / {10-Clubs}

Rechnitzer Shows Two Pair

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Picking up the action on sixth street, Gerard Rechnitzer was in a three-way pot, facing off against Cory Zeidman and Farhad Mobassery. Rechnitzer's board featured three Broadway cards and he spiked third diamond on sixth. Zeidman hit a jack to pair his board. Rechnitzer, however, bet when it got checked to him and both of his opponents called. They checked the final street and Rechnitzer opened his two pair, kings and queens, to win.

Gerard Rechnitzer: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds} / {Q-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Cory Zeidman: {X-}{X-} / {2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} / {X-}
Farhad Mobassery: {X-}{X-} / {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / {X-}

Ben Yu Doubles Through Bradley Berman

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

We picked up the action on sixth street with Ben Yu getting the last of his chips all in against Bradley Berman.

Bradley Berman: {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} / {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {X-}
Ben Yu: {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} / {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {X-}

Yu held trip sixes but needed to pair on seventh to overcome the made flush of Berman. The dealer dealt out the last card and Yu turned up the {4-Hearts}, which gave him a full house.

Berman could still win with the ten of diamonds for a straight flush, but it was not meant to be as the {K-Diamonds} bricked.
