Sotoudeh Out

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

A player limped under the gun and it was called by the button and checked by Forouzan Sotoudeh in the big blind.

The flop revealed {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Stoudeh fired a huge bet of 2,300. The player under the gun raised it to 6,000 and after the third player folded, Sotoudeh three-bet all-in for around 12,000. It was called by his opponent who tabled {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Holding, {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Sotoudeh had outs to hit a flush or two pairs, but the {j-Diamonds} and {7-Diamonds} didn't improve his hand and he was sent to the rail.

Donev's Aces Cracked

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

The flop was showing {4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, and around 3,000 chips were already in the middle when a first player bet 2,500. Ivo Donev on the button raised it to 6,000 and after some thought, his opponent announced all-in for 20,675. Donev called and the players tabled their cards:

Ivo Donev: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
His opponent: {j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Donev's aces were dominated and the {9-Spades} turn and {7-Hearts} brought him no help. The winner of the 2000 $1,500 Limit Omaha was left with crumbs after this hand.

Quads For Meerkreebs

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Two players had put their tournament life at risk by moving all in, one being Mike Meerkreebs when Gabe Saliba made the call.

Mike Meerkreebs: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Gabe Saliba: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
All-in Player 2: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Board: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Meerkreebs found a miracle flop with his pocket sixes and held to win both the main pot and side pot as he had the other all-in player covered.

Ramdin Out

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Victor Ramdin pulled off a great comeback earlier on going from 800 to 18,000 chips, but he informed us on the break that his run in the 'Seniors' event is over.

Ramdin is now able to concentrate on Event #30: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha, where he is one of the remaining 40 players.

Also departing from the same table just before the dinner break was Steven Klein.

Nguyen Wins a Small Pot

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

The player in the hijack opened to 825 and Scotty Nguyen in the big blind made the call. On a flop {3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, both players checked.

The {q-Spades} fell on the turn and Nguyen bet 800, which was enough to win the pot without resistance. Nguyen is now up to a stack worth 13,500.

Donev Loses Some Chips

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

Ivo Donev under the gun opened to 700 and was called by three players.

The flop fell {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and all the players checked. On the {q-Diamonds} turn, John Andrews bet 1,300 from the small blind, Donev folded and only Donald Masuda made the call.

A {q-Spades} appeared on the river and Andrews fired 3,000. It was quickly called by Masuda, who mucked his hand when Andrew showed {3-Spades}{4-Spades} for a full house.
