Mizrachi Scoops Hennigan

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Michael Mizrachi completed with the {q-Diamonds} and called a raise from John Hennigan with the {3-Clubs}. Hennigan continued betting after catching the {5-Diamonds} on fourth and then a {k-Clubs} on fifth but Mizrachi fired out on sixth after pairing aces.

Mizrachi: {x-}{x-}/{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Hennigan: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Hennigan had paired as well and called. Both players checked the river and Mizrachi opened {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} for aces up, which was a winner.

2-7 Triple Draw

Brian Rast lost a sizeable stud hi-lo pot to Benny Glaser putting him on a very short stack heading into this hand.

Michael Mizrachi opened from the cutoff with a raise and Rast made it three bets on the button. Action folded back to Mizrachi who called.

Both players took two on the first draw and Mizrachi continued with a bet. Rast moved in for 145,000 and Mizrachi quickly called.

Mizrachi patted while Rast took two. On the last draw, Mizrachi patted again.

"Well the good news is, I improved," Rast said sweating his hand. He pitched away the {8-} and Mizrachi revealed his {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}. Rast showed {8-}{6-}{4-}{2-}.

"So I need a two spotter, a three spotter, or a no spotter," Rast said. "And none of them is a good sweat."

He peeled the card and revealed the {K-} and that was it for Rast. The two-time winner of this event was eliminated by the only other two-time winner of this event. For his eighth-place finish, Rast will collect $144,049.

Katz Takes from Smith

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Razz

Aaron Katz completed and Dan Smith raised. Katz called, and fired out bets on fourth and fifth streets, with Smith calling each time.

On sixth, Katz bet, and Smith folded.

Katz: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{J-}{8-}{5-}
Smith: {X-}{X-} / {A-}{K-}{4-}{2-}

"OK. I paired the deuce!" announced Smith as he folded.

Katz showed his {6-}{4-} in the hole for an eight low.

Straight for Smith

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Dan Smith opened to 160,000 from under the gun, and Aaron Katz called in the big blind.

The flop landed {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Katz led for 80,000. Smith called, and when the turn fell the {J-Spades}, Katz bet 160,000.

Smith called, and when the river landed the {9-Hearts} and Katz led out for 160,000, Smith called again.

Katz tabled his {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for trip sevens, but it would be Smith's {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a straight that would see him scoop the pot from Katz.

Katz Scoops Mueller

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Aaron Katz raised under the gun and called a three-bet from Greg Mueller. The flop came {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Katz practically beat Mueller into the pot with his call. They both checked the {k-Diamonds} and the {a-Hearts} completed the board. Mueller check-called on the end.

Katz showed {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a low and aces and fives for high. Mueller grimaced and nodded, then mucked.

Limit Hold'em

Michael Mizrachi opened on the button with a raise and Brian Rast made it three bets from the small blind. Benny Glaser called in the big blind while Mizrachi called as well.

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Rast bet. Glaser let out a deep exhale before making it two bets. Mizrachi then made it three bets and Rast and Glaser called.

The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and action checked to Mizrachi who bet. Rast made it two bets and Glaser quickly folded. Mizrachi then made it three bets and Rast tanked for a bit before calling.

On the {8-Spades} river, Rast checked. Mizrachi put out a bet and Rast dropped into the tank.

"Well, I got some of what I wanted," Rast said looking at his hand again. After a bit more in the tank, Rast called. Mizrachi turned over {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for the nuts and Rast mucked quickly.

"Jesus," Glaser said quietly upon coming back to the table and see the pot pushed to Mizrachi. Mizrachi is up over six million after taking the pot.

Mueller Over Hennigan in Stud

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Stud

Greg Mueller defended the bring-in from a John Hennigan raise first to act but Mueller came out betting on fourth, with Hennigan calling and then raising on fifth against an ace-high board. Mueller paired sevens on sixth and Hennigan called, then both players checked seventh.

Mueller: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs}/{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Hennigan: {x-}{x-}/{k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades}/{x-}

Aces up were a winner for Mueller.
