Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Duy Ho
Duy Ho

There were about 60,000 chips already in the middle and the completed board read {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Duy Ho was under the gun and heads up against the player in the big blind. The big blind checked, Ho bet 19,000, and after some consideration, the big blind called. Ho flipped over {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for Broadway, his opponent mucked, and he took the chips.

Fleur Finds Aces

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Garabed Uluhogian moved all in for a remaining stack worth around 35,000 and it folded to Alexis Fleur in the big blind who called, showing {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

Uluhogian was in bad shape for a double-up, holding {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and the board {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs} brought him no help. The French player now has a stack worth 150,000.

Massey Doubles Up Before the Break

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Aaron Massey
Aaron Massey

On the very last hand before the dinner break, Lee Guzovsky opened to 7,000 and the action folded to Aaron Massey in small blind who three-bet to 21,500. Guzovsky made the call.

The flop showed {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Massey continued for 14,000. Ater some thought, Guzovsky called once more.

Things heated on the {5-Hearts} river, as Massey announced all-in for a stack worth 63,500. After a long tank, Guzovsky ended up calling with {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, but regretted when he saw {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} in Massey's hand. The river {8-Diamonds} didn't change anything and Massey climbed up to 187,000 before going on dinner break.
