Kopp and Wattel Win Pots Without Showdown

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

William Kopp's bet on the {J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop received a call from Danny Wong and Chad Eveslage in the small blind. The {6-Spades} turn paired the board and Eveslage checked once more. Kopp bet again, Wong folded and Eveslage called. The {Q-Spades} appeared on the river and Eveslage checked before folding to a third barrel by Kopp.

Mike Wattel raised and Matt Woodward three-bet out of the small blind, Wattel called. Woodward checked the {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and called a bet. On the {J-Hearts} turn, both players checked and Woodward also checked the {4-Hearts} river. Wattel's bet sent Woodward deep in the think tank and eventually folded.

John Jenkins Eliminated in 22nd Place ($6,764)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
John Jenkins
John Jenkins

On an {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board, Mike Wattel was in the big blind and directly bet as soon as the turn landed. Daniel Buzgon took some time before sliding in a call in the cutoff, while John Jenkins instantly overcalled on the button.

On the {Q-Clubs}, Wattel directly fired again, Buzgon tank-called and Jenkins overcalled again without hesitation.

Wattel showed {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for tens and eights, as well as a made low. Buzgon tabled {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a higher two pair and Jenkins mucked to become the one chopped up.

Down to just 40,000, Jenkins got it in a few hands after against Robert Campbell.

John Jenkins: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Robert Campbell: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop left Jenkins all but drawing dead for the high. He needed to make a low to escape with half but neither the {10-Clubs} turn nor {10-Spades} provided the lifeline, and Jenkins was off to the payout desk.

James Chen Eliminated in 23rd Place ($6,764)

On the turn of a board {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, James Chen ended up all in and at risk against Tammer Ilcaffas.

James Chen: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Tammer Ilcaffas: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Chen was ahead with top set, but he was not guaranteed by any means to scoop the entire pot, as Ilcaffas had a gutshot and a redraw to the nut low. The {J-Diamonds} on the river gave him the winning straight, eliminating Chen in 23rd place for $6,764.

A short-stacked Rylen Sanehisa ended up all in and at risk out of the big blind with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} on the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} turn and Christopher Roth on the button looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a full house.

"Give him a queen," Roth said in table chat, and instead the board completed with the {K-Clubs} on the river to send Sanehisa to the rail in 24th place.

Wong Chops With Roth

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Danny Wong raised in middle position, Chris Roth made it three bets from the big blind and Wong called. Roth barreled a board of {7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Wong quickly called it off on every street.

Roth showed {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} for aces and ace-six for low, Wong had him outpipped for the low with {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the two chopped it up.

Gregory Dinkin
Gregory Dinkin

After raising on the button and picking up a call by Gregory Dinkin in the big blind, Denny Axel continued to fire on each street to see Dinkin check-call all the way on the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and the {3-Clubs} turn. Dinkin only had 10,000 back and check-called all in after the {K-Hearts} river.

Axel rolled over the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for two pair and a low with deuce-seven, and Dinkin showed {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the inferior two pair, his low hand could not secure a portion of the pot either and he was eliminated in 25th place for $6,764.

In the second level of the third day, Japan's last hope Itsuko Yoroi went to the rail. With just 29,000 in chips, Yoroi shoved after Brandon Ageloff had called, who flicked the extra chips in as well.

Itsuko Yoroi: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Brandon Ageloff: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Ageloff made a boat on {J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Yoroi bowed out in 26th.

Eveslage Scoops a Big One

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} turn, Chad Eveslage bet in the small blind and was called by Christopher Roth in the big blind and Matt Woodward in the cutoff. The {2-Clubs} fell on the river and Eveslage bet once more, Roth called. Woodward raised and picked up two callers.

Eveslage showed {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for two pair and the nut low, and Roth sighed before folding. Woodward carefully checked his cards and mucked as well to give Eveslage a big scoop.
