Todd Witteles, who cashed yesterday the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em where he finished 33rd, has taken a seat in this event.
In 2005, Witteles won a bracelet in a $3,000 limit hold'em event, and he will be looking for a second bracelet in a limit event here.

The 2015 Main Event champion Joe McKeehen has just sat down at his table. McKeehen picked up his second WSOP bracelet last year in the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship.

Among the initial 370 players who have taken their seats from the off is Dutch professional Marcel Luske.
Luske boasts $4,969,472 in live recorded cashes and is currently ranked #1 in the Netherlands all-time money list. "The Flying Dutchman" will be looking for his first cash of this year's WSOP here in Event #41.

Day 1 of Event #41: $1,500 Limit Hold'em of the 2018 World Series of Poker is set to get underway at 11 a.m. today. Last year in this event, it was Shane Buchwald who beat a 616-player field to earn $177,985 as well as his first WSOP bracelet.
Players will start with 7,500 in chips and play 10 hour-long levels with a 20-minute break after every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 6 at around 5:40 p.m. Late registration will be closed after level 8.
There are only three limit Hold'em events on the 2018 World Series of Poker schedule with the next event being Event #52: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship on June 25. So for those limit hold'em specialists who are looking for a more affordable tournament, this is the event for you.
