Scott "BigRiskky" Clements Trying to Go Deep in Two

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Scott "BigRiskky" Clements playing both events at once.
Scott "BigRiskky" Clements playing both events at once.

Earlier in the day we made mention of several players who were multitabling between this event and Event #47: $565 WSOP.com ONLINE Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed. While at first, we mentioned that John Racener was multitabling, it's Scott Clements that's actually the one to watch, going deep in Event #47 and surviving here in Event #46 as well.

Clements has survived through the first eight levels here in Event #46 and while he was doing that, he was busy making it deep in the online event as well, playing under the handle BigRiskky. Clements has built up a stack of 448,033 in that event and currently sits 14 of the 53 players remaining.

Clements will be shooting for the first place prize of $135,078 in that event but he still has some work to do here tonight in this event as well, with two more hours left to play. It would be a truly historic and amazing feat should Clements manage to win an event while playing another at the same time.

Elezra Survives with a Chop Pot

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Stud Hi-Lo

Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-}/{J-Spades}{A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}/{x-}
Konstantin Puchkov: {x-}{x-}/{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{K-Spades}/{x-}

Eli Elezra put out a bet on fifth street and he was called by both opponents, one of whom was Konstantin Puchkov. On sixth street, Elezra moved all in for 100 and he was called in both spots.

Puchkov and the other player both checked on seventh street. Elezra showed down his {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a fullhouse. Puchkov showed his {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for a six-five low. The other player in the hand mucked so Elezra was able to take down half the pot with his full house.

We caught action on sixth street where Daniel Negreanu was first to act. He checked over to Brandon Shack-Harris who put out a bet. Jeff Lisandro then made it two bets. Negreanu called as did Shack-Harris.

On seventh street, Negreanu decided to lead out. Shack-Harris tanked for a bit, then made it two bets before Lisandro made it three bets. Negreanu called and Shack-Harris dropped into the tank again and after a bit he decided to call. Lisandro showed his {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a six low. Negreanu showed his {A-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a flush and seven low. Shack-Harris double checked his cards then mucked his hand and Lisandro and Negreanu chopped up the pot.

Nicholas Derke

Stud Hi-Lo

Nicolas Derke: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}/{x-}

According to Derke, his opponent checked over to him on fourth street, and Derke bet. His opponent then raised and Derke called.

Action was on fifth street when we picked up the action and Nicholas Derke checked it over to his opponent. The player put out a bet and Derke called.

On sixth street, Derke checked and his opponent checked behind. Derke led out on seventh and his opponent raised. Derke then called. Derke showed down his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for kings full of fours. His opponent showed {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades} for two pair as well as an eight-perfect low.

"That's the one you're gonna write?" Derke said upon seeing us behind him. "If you write that hand I'm never gonna get backed again! That's the weirdest hand I played all day."

Derke asked his opponent whether he made aces on fourth or if he made them on seventh. His opponent responded that he made them on fourth street.

Nice Scoop for Cantu

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Brandon Cantu completed with his {7-Hearts} and he was called by the player to his left with his {K-Hearts} and Cyndy Violette with her {7-Spades}.

Brandon Cantu: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{K-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}/{x-}
Cyndy Violette: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} - fold on fifth

Action checked to Cantu on fourth and he bet it, finding calls from both players. On fifth street, Violette checked with her pair of sevens and Cantu bet again. Only the player to his left called while Violette released.

On sixth, the player checked to Cantu who bet again and his opponent called. The player check-called one more bet from Cantu on seventh street. Cantu showed down his {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a straight and a low and it was good as his opponent could only produce {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Hearts} for three kings. Cantu scoop the pot and moved to about 17,000.
