Negreanu Eliminated by Song

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was nursing a short stack and now has lost all of his chips. JC Tran made it two bets and saw his neighbor Kevin Song raise to three bets. The player in the two-seat called and Negreanu pushed all-in. Tran made it four bets and Song and the two-seat both called.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Tran checked to Song who put out a bet. Both players called and the {10-Hearts} turn was dealt. Tran checked to Song again and after he put out a bet the two-seat and Tran both folded.

Song opened up {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Negreanu said "I have queen-eight. I swear I have a queen-eight straight!" After ten seconds he opened up {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and the dealer completed the board by putting down the {6-Diamonds} river.

One table over, Kahle Burns also stood up from his seat and walked away from the tournament with no more chips on the table.
