Adams Gives Up to Conan on the Turn

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Arthur Conan had opened the button preflop and Justin Adams called from the big blind.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Adams checked to Conan, who bet 4,500. Adams raised to 14,000 and Conan peeled, taking them on to the turn. It was a {7-Diamonds}, which paired the board and Adams deferred the action to Conan, who made a bet of 10,000. It got a fold from Adams and Conan took down the pot.

Darie's Flush is No Good

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Vlad Darie opened to 4,5000 from the hijack and was called by Ivan Luca on the button along with both of the blinds. The flop fell {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Darie who continued for 5,500. Luca was the only player to call as the {3-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn.

Darie fired another 9,000 into the pot but Luca still called to see the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Darie decided to check this time and Luca knuckled the table as well. Darie turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a flush but Luca held {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a full house as he dragged in the pot.

Malka Sticks Around

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

David Malka opened the action with a raise to 4,500 in middle position. On his left was Jamie Armstrong, who three-bet to 14,000, which was called by Malka.

The flop was an all-flushing {5-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} and when Malka checked, Armstrong bet 12,000. Malka called and the turn came {5-Clubs}, which paired the board and again Malka checked. Armstrong bet 27,000 this time and Malka wasn't going anywhere just yet and made the call.

The last card out was the {7-Diamonds}. After a lot of tanking on both sides, it went check-check and Malka turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for two pair. It was good enough, with Armstrong mucking his hand.

Guerrero Wins the Family Pot

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After a raise to 4,000 from under the gun, the other five players at the table all called to create a family pot. "This is my first family pot of the summer," one player noted.

The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the action checked around to Arthur Morris on the button who tossed in a bet of 15,000. Jimmy Guerrero was in the small blind and check-raised to 48,000. Cards quickly hit the muck and the action was back on Morris. He counted his stack and thought for a minute but decided to let go of his hand as well.
