Bad Beat for Kyte

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The board was showing {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and the three players in the hand had their cards tabled when we got to the table.

Jon Kyte, holding {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}, was facing {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} in his opponent's hands, who both found trip jacks on the flop. Kyte, who recently finished 26th in Event #41: $1,500 Limit Hold'em, went to join the rail.

Sethi Out

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We arrived at the table when Muskan Sethi, short stack, went all in with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and was facing a better hand, {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

The board didn't save Sethi, who fell down to one big blind after that hand and busted a few minutes later.

Huge Double-Up for Lybaert

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The action started with a player opening to 2,500 in middle position and Bart Lybaert, one seat over, making the call. After some thought, the player in the small blind raised it 16,000. The first raiser let it go and Lybaert three-bet all in for a stack worth 75,000. His opponent, with a similar stack, ended up calling after a long tank.

It was a flip situation as Lybaert, holding {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, was facing {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for his opponent, but the board {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} gave Lybaert the winning hand and the massive pot.
