The action folded around to the player on the button and he raised to 1,000. Dutch Boyd called from the big blind and they went heads-up to the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop.

Both players checked and the turn was the {9-Hearts}. Boyd check-called a bet of 850 from his opponent and the {j-Clubs} completed the board. Boyd checked and the player tossed out a bet of 3,200 sending Boyd deep into the tank.

"Sorry guys" Boyd said to the table after nearly a minute as he looked at his opponent. Boyd eventually called and the player said "good call" turning over {k-Spades}{2-Spades} for just king high. Boyd showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for ace high and that was enough to earn him the pot.
