Mcminniman Takes Out Dawley

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

There was a cutoff open to 1,100 and Kevin Mcminniman three-bet from the button. Current Ladies Champion, Jessica Dawley, was sat in the big blind and she moved all in for 10,000. Only Mcminniman called and they turned their cards on their backs.

Kevin Mcminniman: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Jessica Dawley: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Dawley was the one who needed to hit as they went to the flop. The dealer laid out {4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Mcminniman still needed to dodge a queen. He faded the {7-Hearts} turn but it brought straight outs to chop. The {k-Diamonds} river was safe and Dawley headed to the door as Mcminniman scooped up some more to add to his already hefty stack.

More Than a Double for Manovani

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

There were still a few players in on the {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. Alexandre Mantovani checked and the player on his left bet 5,000. Everyone else passed and Mantovani called his remaining 3,450 chips. Mantovani was a long way in front with {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The {10-Spades} turn and {2-Hearts} river locked it up and gave him more than a double.
