Glaser Knocked Out by Thurlow

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Benny Glaser busted in two hands against Justin Thurlow. On the first one, Glaser raised from under the gun and called a three-bet from Thurlow.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Glaser check-called a bet from Thurlow. The same action happened on the turn {q-Spades} after Glaser tanked for some time.

The river brought a {8-Hearts} and Glaser opted to raise to 32,000 a bet from Thurlow. The latter reraised it to 48,000 and Gaser mucked his hand, showing {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a set of eights.

A few minutes later, Thurlow raised from the under the gun position and Glaser called all in in the big blind position for a stack around 12, 000 left.

Holding {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Glaser was in desperate shape for a double up, against {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for Thurlow, and found no help on a board {3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Glaser made his way to the cashier to collect his $6,990 prize.
