Adams Eliminated by Pardo

Level 10 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Brandon Adams was short stacked and he moved all in from the cutoff with a shove for under 100,000. Action folded to the big blind where Juan Pardo Dominguez called and the cards were turned up.

Juan Pardo Dominguez: {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Brandon Adams: {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} which gave Adams a pair of eights, but it was second best to Pardo's pair of nines. That sent Adams to the rail and chipped up Pardo to around 950,000.

Kenney and Duhamel Eliminated

Level 11 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades} river David Peters put Bryn Kenney all in, and Kenney called. Peters showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a full house, while Kenney's {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} slid into the muck.

A short while later, Jonathan Duhamel was also sent packing with {6-Spades}{7-Hearts} against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of John Racener with the board reading {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{q-Clubs} with Racener rivering a full house to send the former Main Event winner out of the door.

Mizrachi Sends Mateos Home Again to Breach 1 Million

Level 11 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Catching the action on the river with the board showing {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} Adrian Mateos checked over to Michael Mizrachi, who put out a bet of 149,000 which was enough to put Mateos all in.

Mateos wasted little time calling and showed down his {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} but it was the inferior straight as Mizrachi was holding {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the nut straight. That would earn him the pot and push him over a million chips as Mateos called off the last of his stack in the hand, eliminating him from the tournament.
