Mateos Takes One From Pardo

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After a limp from David Saffron, Juan Pardo Dominguez made it 10,500 from the small blind. Adrian Mateos called in the big blind. Saffron folded.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Pardo led out with a bet of 8,000. Mateos called.

On the {K-Diamonds} turn, Pardo bet again, making it 35,000. Mateos thought through most of the time bank then called a second time.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and both players slowed down with a check. Pardo showed his {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for just queen high with the board and Mateos showed his {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for two pair and that would earn him the pot pushing him to right around 400,000 chips.

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Winter shoved the {10-Clubs} river for around 170,000 and after only a short tank, Martini called with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for top pair. Winter turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top set and doubled to just under double starting stack.
