Bojang Sweats for Double

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Ismael Bojang was all in versus Nikolai Yakovenko. They were both sweating the last draw, trying to bink a good card.

Ismael Bojang: {6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}
Nikolai Yakovenko: {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}

Bojang drew {J-} for jack high and that was enough to seal him the dub as Yakovenko peeled {Q-}.

"What is that?" Yakovenko shouted in disappointment.

No Cash for Klodnicki

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

We only arrived when Chris Klodnicki was all in and patted while John Hennigan drew one on the last draw.

Klodnicki showed {9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and Hennigan opened {8-}{6-}{5-}{2-}. Hennigan needed a three, four, or a seven to beat Klodnicki and he'd surely get a seven to finish Klodnicki's run three spots outside the paid places.

Deeb Still Climbing

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

It's been a great Day 2 for Shaun Deeb and it just continued in a sizable pot against Luis Velador. Velador drew two and Deeb one, big blind versus button. Velador check-called a bet then draws repeated. Velador again check-called. Both players took a final card off and checked.

Velador announced a pair of deuces and Deeb spread {a-}{8-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

Turner Wins a Massive Pot Off Batow

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

A gigantic pot emerged between Timothy Batow and Jon Turner in the battle of the blinds. With action caught after the second draw, Batow checked-raise-four-bet and Turner called.

They both stood pat and the last betting round brought some more fireworks. In fast fashion, Batow checked, Turner bet, and then three-bet after getting check-raised. Batow called and they were in the showdown.

"Obviously, he has the nuts," George Trigeorgis, who is sitting to Turner's left, declared. Turner confirmed his statement showing the wheel. Batow turned up his {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, unfortunately only the second nuts.

Trigeorgis Busts Batow to Reach Bubble

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Timothy Batow was all in after the second draw for 12,200 on the button, with Jon Turner in the small blind having put in 15,000. Big blind George Trigeorgis came along and he and Batow took a final card while Turner was pat.

On the end, Turner checked and Trigeorgis bet. Turner slammed some chips together and smiled.

"Can't just fold when I reraise there, huh?"

Finally, he splashed in a call.

"I got it," Trigeorgis said, spinning a wheel into the middle.

Batow showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

"Dammit," he said. "That's so f****** frustrating."

The tournament is now on the bubble.

Vitch Has a Better Six

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Chris Vitch raised the button and Jordan Siegel called in the big blind. They took two each and Siegel led out. Vitch called.

Siegel stood pat on the second draw while Vitch took one but Vitch wasn't scared to raise Siegel's bet. Siegel called.

The last draw was patted and Siegel check-called one more bet.

Vitch revealed his {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}{A-} for a perfect six. Siegel sighed and showed a worse six of his own.

Seiver Doubles Through Ferguson

Badugi

Scott Seiver check-called a bet from Chris Ferguson after the first draw and then took a card. Ferguson was pat. Seiver checked again and Ferguson bet. This time, Seiver raised and Ferguson called. Both players were pat and Seiver bet, leaving himself 200. Ferguson thought awhile and splashed the extra chips in, announcing a seven.

Seiver spread {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. We didn't catch his fourth card, but it was apparently a good spade because he earned a double and left Ferguson with crumbs.
