Kassouf Doubles Through Olson

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

Picking up the action on the {K-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, William Kassouf checked out of the big blind and called a bet of 4,000 by David Olson in early position. On the {Q-Spades} turn, Kassouf checked once more and Olson bet 15,000. Kassouf, who had 26,400 behind, started his usual table talk and put his opponent on ace-king with the {A-Spades}.

"I am not going to fold or call," Kassouf mentioned and then added "this could be the one." He then moved all in and Olson called it off instantly, rolling over {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Kassouf had turned a flush with the {10-Spades}{2-Spades} and his request for a brick on the river was granted with the blank {9-Clubs} to let the Brit double.

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Picking up action on the river with a board of {Q-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Phil Ivey was facing off against Daniel Fuhs. Fuhs led out with a bet of 22,000 and Ivey dropped into the tank. He thought about it for over a minute before he finally decided to call.

Ritter Doubles Through Rettenmaier

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Marvin Rettenmaier
Marvin Rettenmaier

Three players saw a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Brian Altman checked. David Ritter shoved all in for 23,100 into a main pot of about 30,000. Rettenmaier called from the button and Altman folded.

David Ritter: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Marvin Rettenmaier: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The dealer burned and turned the {k-Spades} and Rettenmaier spiked an off suit king to take the lead. The {9-Clubs} hit the river and Ritter rocketed out of his seat as he breathed a sigh of relief. "What a sweat that was" Ritter said as he improved to the nut flush to earn the double up.
