Williams Wins it Versus Maeroff

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Cory Williams opened the action on the button with a raise to 85,000 and Jason Maeroff three-bet in the small blind to 250,000. Williams made the call, and the flop came down {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Maeroff bet 375,000 and Williams responded by raising to 935,000.

Yang Falls Leaving Only Two Women Standing

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

According to Artur Koren, he opened from middle position and he was called by Alexandre Reard in the hijack as well as Xi Yang in the cutoff.

The flop came down {8-}{7-}{6-} and action checked to Yang who bet 150,000. Action was back on Koren who made it 375,000 with a check-raise. Reard folded and Yang moved all in for about a million. Koren called quickly.

Artur Koren: {6-}{6-}
Xi Yang: {9-}{9-}

The board completed with the {A-} and the {6-} and that gave Koren quads to eliminated Yang, leaving Kelly Minkin and Natalie Teh as the last two women alive in this year's Main Event.

Newport Eliminated by Fox

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jorden Fox opened to 120,000 from early position and Volodymyr Drokin called on the button. With the action on Nick Newport in the small blind, he three-bet to 485,000.

The big blind folded, and Fox announced he was all in and placed a stack of lavender 100,000-denomination chips into the pot.

Drokin folded, and rather quickly, Newport called all in for roughly 2,240,000.

Fox: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Newport: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

It was the typical tournament coinflip, and once the ESPN cameras had arrived, the dealer was given the go-ahead to spread the {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop.

The turn landed the {J-Spades} to now see Newport needing to fade an ace, king, or queen to stay alive, but when the dealer dropped the {A-Diamonds} on the river, he would be eliminated in a pot that was close to 5 million in chips.

Ramon reraised back to 390,000 and Lynskey peeled, seeing the {7-Diamonds}. Both checked and the {j-Spades} arrived. Lynskey bet 525,000 and Ramon called but he didn't have to show anything down as Lynskey just mucked.

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

All the money was in preflop with Timothy McDermott at risk for 515,000 against Matas Cikinas who had him covered.

Timothy McDermott: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Matas Cikinas: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

"It's a flip, guys," McDermott said to his rail. "I like this part, I don't have to do anything."

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and that gave McDermott a winning two pair, allowing him to double up through Cikinas who was left with just 640,000 chips.
