Platis Can't Find a Fold

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

We found Nikolaos Platis tanking on the button against an all-in shove from Ricardo Souza on {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Souza had shoved for about 945,000 in the hijack into a pot containing a little over 1 million. Platis tanked for several minutes until a clock was called. About halfway through his time, he slid in calling chips.

Souza showed {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a straight and Platis mucked {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

Koren Three-Bets from the Big

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Alexander Lynskey opened to 100,000 from under the gun and Franklin Azevedo called in the cutoff. Vicent Bosca Ramon called in the small blind, before Artur Koren three-bet from the big blind to 550,000.

Lynskey folded, as did Azevedo, and after a few moments, Ramon folded too and Koren collected the pot.

Josephy Eliminated in Monster Cooler

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Cliff Josephy
Cliff Josephy

Cliff Josephy raised to 110,000 from under the gun and Michael Dyer three-bet to 315,000. Josephy four-bet to 815,000 and Dyer moved all in. Josephy snap-called.

Cliff Josephy: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Michael Dyer: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The 2016 November Niner was all in for 3,800,000 and looked in a commanding position to double up.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} with no help to Dyer. The turn was a {5-Spades} but the {a-Spades} on the river sent Josephy to the rail and boosted Dyer's stack up over the nine million.

Gooch Extracts Value With Two Pair

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

There was a pot brewing between Jason Gooch and Stanley Lee as we approached. Action was first on Gooch on a board showing {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and he led out with a bet of 280,000.

Lee was in the tank and he stayed there for a bit. Eventually he decided to call and Gooch showed down his {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for two pair. This was enough to earn him the pot and chip him up to almost four million as Lee was cut down to just over one million.

Manion Picks Off Sekularac

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Ognjen Sekularac opened to 100,000 form early position, and Nicolas Manion three-bet the cutoff to 250,000.

The action folded back to Sekularac, and he called before the {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} board checked down to the river where Sekularac bet out 315,000.

Manion quickly called and tabled his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} to best Sekularac's {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Mosbock and Shorr Chop All In Again!

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Shannon Shorr raised to 115k and [Removed:502] three-bet to 350k on the button. The other players got out of the way, and Shorr decided to four-bet to 805k. Mosbock wasn't done however and proceeded to five-bet all in for 2.5m. Shorr made the call, and both players saw they held the same hand.

Shannon Shorr: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Marion Mosbock: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The rainbow board brought no sweats for either player, and they chopped up the pot once more.

Mike Cordell: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Daniel Merrilees: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
