Scott Davies
Scott Davies

Scott Davies opened from early position and Paulo Goncalves three-bet from the big blind. The two players opted to get all of their chips in the middle preflop with Davies being the player at risk for 905,000.

Paulo Goncalves: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Scott Davies: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Goncalves was still ahead with his superior pocket pair. The {q-Clubs} on the turn nor the {4-Spades} on the river were of any help to Davies as he was eliminated.

Hutter Gets One Through With a Cold Four

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

There was a raise to 110,000 in early position from Seth Foster and action folded to Richard Robison in middle position. He three-bet making it 275,000. Action folded to the button and there Barry Hutter put together a cold four-bet of 600,000. Action folded back to Foster who let it go and Robinson dropped into the tank. He thought for a bit over a minute then released as well, and that allowed Hutter to take down the pot with no showdown.
