Randy Lowery Eliminated in 29th Place ($230,475)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Randy Lowery
Randy Lowery

On a {2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop Randy Lowery bet 1,000,000 and opponent Eric Froehlich called. The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Lowery moved all in for 4,595,000.

The minutes ticked by as Froehlich tanked, with all-ins seemingly being announced at several other tables. Eventually he called.

Lowery turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for top pair, and Froehlich showed {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens and an open-ended straight draw.

The river {k-Hearts} gave Froehlich a straight and send Lowery to the rail. Lowery sat in his chair for a moment appearing stunned, and just took in the moment before shaking the hands of his tablemates and exiting the tournament area.

Samuel Bernabeu Eliminated in 30th Place ($230,475)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Samuel Bernabeu
Samuel Bernabeu

After an open under the gun to 500,000 and an Artem Metalidi three-bet to 1.4 million in middle position, Aram Zobian cold-called in the small blind. Samuel Bernabeu thought for about a minute then moved all in from the big for 10,115,000. Action folded back to Zobian, who called.

Aram Zobian: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Samuel Bernabeu: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop brought nothing for Bernabeu. The {5-Spades} likewise, so he needed a king on the river. Paint arrived but it was the {q-Hearts}.

Daniel Tang
Daniel Tang

Clayton Fletcher raised to 500,000 from under the gun, and Kao Saechao called. Daniel Tang was on the button and moved all in for 1.4m. Fletcher reshoved when the action was folded back to him, and Saechao folded.

Clayton Fletcher: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Daniel Tang: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Board: {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Tang was unable to find the board to save him, and Fletcher took the pot with his higher kicker to move up to 7.7m, as Tang walked away with $230,475.

Andres Jeckeln Eliminated in 32nd Place ($230,475)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Andres Jeckeln
Andres Jeckeln

Andres Jeckeln opened with a raise to 450,000 and he was called by Hari Bercovici in early position and Martijn Gerrits in the small blind.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and action checked to Bercovici who put out a bet of 500,000. Gerrits called before Jeckeln moved all in for 1,600,000. Bercovici quickly folded while Gerrits called.

Andres Jeckeln: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}
Martijns Gerrits: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} which gave Gerrits even more outs with a flush draw now and the river was the {J-Diamonds} completing a straight flush for Gerrits. That meant that Jeckeln would be sent home in 32nd place to collect $230,475 for his run.

Artem Metalidi opened to 450,000 and Zobian three-bet to 1,800,000 in the big blind, which Metalidi called. Trips Jacks for Haro Beat Tang's Queens

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Alexander Haro raised to 450,000 from under the gun and Daniel Tang three-bet to 1.7m on the button. When the action folded back around to Haro, he moved all in for 6.5m and Tang called.

Alexander Haro:{k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Daniel Tang: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Board: {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Haro needed a lot of help from the board, and the flop gave him some hope when he hit a pair of jacks. The turn further increased his outs as he picked up the flush draw, and when the river came, the jack of hearts Haro hit trips to survive and leave Tang short.

Peter Campo Eliminated in 33rd Place ($230,475)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Peter Campo
Peter Campo

In early position, Peter Campo opened with a raise to 475,000. Action folded to Ivan Luca who called. From the small blind Antoine Labat reraised, making it 1,880,000. In the big blind, Frederik Jensen moved all in for 4,410,000. Campo then moved all in over the top for 4,950,000. Luca quickly folded and Labat dropped into the tank. He thought for a long while before eventually calling.

Antoine Labat: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Frederik Jensen: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Peter Campo: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

Jensen had the best of it with his kings while Jensen was behind with his jacks. Campo needed to catch something big or he would be eliminated.

The board ran out {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and it was good for Jensen who earned a triple up. In the process, Labat took down a side pot as Campo had more than Jensen. Jensen tripled up to around 14 million while Campo hit the rail in 33rd place.

For his run in the main event, Campo will collect $230,475.

Nishant Sharma
Nishant Sharma

Nishant Sharma opened for 425,000 and Aram Zobian made it 1,225,000 in the cutoff. Sharma came back with 3,550,000 and Zobian moved all in for about 10 million effective. Sharma flicked in a chip right away to call but Zobian had the goods: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Sharma turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and stood up.

The dealer delivered a board of {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, so there wasn't much sweat as Sharma hit the rail.

Sharma Takes Some Off Metalidi

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Artem Metalidi raised to 450,000 from late position and was called by Nishant Sharma from one seat over in the hijack. Metalidi checked the {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and called a bet of 525,000 by Sharma. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Metalidi checked once more and faced a bet worth 1,300,000.

Metalidi glanced at the stack of his opponent and called. Both then checked the {5-Spades} on the river and Metalidi turned over {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for top pair. Sharma held the better kicker with the {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and claimed the pot, putting a small dent into Metalidi's big stack.
