Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Justin Wong
Justin Wong

Jesse Kertland raised to 70,000 from middle position and Justin Wong called from the next seat over. Small blind Isaac Hanson three-bet to 250,000 and initial raiser Kertland got out of the way.

Wong opted to go for a four-bet when he put all of his chips in the middle. The dealer counted out 875,000 and it was up to Hanson what would happen.

Hanson got out of the way and the chips were pushed to Wong.

Patreau Falls To Babayan

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Shane Patreau jammed for 305,000 from middle position, and Sergey Babayan called on the button.

"I dunno if I'm ahead," Babayan told Patreau before the cards were tabled.

Patreau frowned and said, "Nah, you're ahead."

Shane Patreau: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}
Sergey Babayan: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Both players found a pair on the {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop, but it would be Babayan's aces that would score the knockout after the {k-Clubs} turn and {j-Diamonds} river.

At the same time, Derek Shoemaker busted at another table, bringing us down to a two-table redraw.

Haynes Doubles Up

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Nicholas Haynes
Nicholas Haynes

Austin Roberts raised to 70,000 from the under-the-gun position and it folded to Nicholas Haynes in late position. He decided to go for it when he pushed 360,000 to the middle. It folded back to Roberts and he flicked in a call when Haynes' stack size was confirmed.

Austin Roberts: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Nicholas Haynes: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The board fell {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Haynes secured another double.

''How many flips do I need to win?'' He asked himself after he won this one. He did a victory lap and started stacking his chips when he got back in his seat.

Babayan Catches A Bluff From Cardenas

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Sergey Babayan raised to 65,000 from the cutoff, and Miguel Cardenas called in the big blind.

Cardenas jammed to put Babayan at risk for his last 385,000 on a {7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop, and Babayan obliged by snapping him off.

Sergey Babayan: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Miguel Cardenas: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Cardenas tried a bold bluff with ace-high, but Babayan's aces held for the double after the {5-Hearts} turn and {10-Hearts} river.

Lamberta Rivered By Chip Leader Ruiz

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Joseph Lamberta
Joseph Lamberta

Joseph Lamberta jammed for 265,000 on the button, and Jorge Ruiz measured out the chips and paused for a moment before pushing them in to call.

Joseph Lamberta: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Jorge Ruiz: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Lamberta hit his ace on the {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop, but he still turned around, standing up from his seat. The {q-Diamonds} turn gave Ruiz a gutshot and a flush draw, and the {10-Spades} river made a straight for Ruiz, sending Lamberta to the rail.

Hanson Secures Huge Double

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Adam Lamers raised from early position to 55,000 and Isaac Hanson laid the trap with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} when he just called. Steven McLoughlin found {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} in the big blind and he put 685,000 in the middle. Initial raiser Lamers got out of the way and Hanson snap-called after his trap had sprung.

The board fell {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Hanson took the big pot down.

McLoughlin was left with just 5,000 after the hand and he lost that to Darrin Phillips in the next hand.

Jorge Ruiz raised to 85,000 on the button, then snapped off a three-bet shove for 220,000 from Patrick Chung in the small blind.

Jorge Ruiz: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Patrick Chung: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Chung found a ten on the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop, but improved no further on the {a-Spades} turn or {4-Hearts} river.
