Following the draw, Rep Porter had fired 13,000 in position but Don Mcnamara put the ball back in Porter's court, shoving for around 54,000. Porter tanked for a bit and then went for it. Unfortunately for him, Mcnamara had it, revealing {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for Number Two.

Mather Survives All-In on the Soft Bubble

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 1,800 ante

With 47 left (45 paid), small blind Galen Hall set big blind Robert Mather all in when it folded to him for his last 8,900 (Hall has over 120,000). Mather called, stayed pat and after Mather drew two showed a {9-}{8-}{x-}{x-}{x-}. Hall flipped over the {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} he'd held on to and sweated his hand with his neighbour, saying, "one at a time!"

With a pinch of the first drawn card, the hand was over. "Oh, it's paint," he said, and shipped the pot.

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 1,800 ante

Bjorn Geissert had made it 2,500 from early position when Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 12,500 out of the big blind. Geissert jammed for his 27,000 and Negreanu didn't like it. He took about a minute to process his thoughts and then decided to let his hand go.

Geissert showed {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and Negreanu responded that he was drawing dead, having held a pat ten hand.

Chait Nearly Doubles Through Kassela

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 1,800 ante

Round 2 for Craig Chait and Frank Kassela: 20,000 in yellow chips was in front of Kassela and silence reigned for a brief moment on their table. Kassela did not have much more than 20,000 total and considered for a minute before calling. Chait showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-} which beat Kassela's nine.

The dealer started counting down Chait's full stack to double him up, but Kassella pointed out, "I only bet 20,000!" They declined to get the floor involved, Chait taking the 20,000.

"I bet for value," said Kassela. "I thought you had a worse nine."

Hall vs Harman Again

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Jen Harman raised to 3,000 in the middle position and Galen Hall three-bet to 10,500 from the next seat. It returned to Harman who took her time before announcing a raise, putting forward 34,000. Hall matched the price and both players stood pat.

Harman thought for a bit and tapped the felt and Hall did the same, prompting a showdown. Harman turned up [9x8x6x5x2] and Hall studied the hand for a brief moment to make sure he had the winner. Then he rolled over {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and claimed the hefty pot.

A few moments before the above-mentioned encounter, Ajay Chabra took all of Aaron Mermelstein's chips to vault to around 150,000.

Having dropped a ways from his start-of-day 80,000 stack, Galen Hall tangled with Daniel Negreanu as Level 11 ticked down its last minutes. Negreanu had bet 10,000, and Hall raised to 19,000.
