Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 9,000 ante

It folded to Steven Tabb on the small blind and he put big blind Craig Chait all in for his 145,000. Chait made the call and they each drew one down card while turning their other four face-up:

Chait: {8-}{6-}{5-}{2-}
Tabb: {10-}{9-}{4-}{3-}

Tabb drew a deuce but Chait a nine to win the pot.

Michael Sortino

Michael Sortino went all in for 105,000 and so did Frank Kassela behind him. With the others out of the way, they both decided to take one card and turned their hands up:

Sortino: {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}
Kassela: {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}

They received their final cards down, Kassela saying "you're looking good" as he paired his deuce; Sortino's jack took the pot.

"Might as well gamble," he added as he counted out the chips to hand over.

Steven Tabb raised to 17,000 in the first position and his neighbor Matthew Smith three-bet shoved for 150,000. Tabb called after a minute or so, and he decided to pat. Smith changed one card.

Tabb: {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Smith: {8-}{6-}{5-}{2-}

Smith needed to peel any seven, four or a three to pull ahead, but he turned up a {k-} instead.

Chip Counts from Table 1

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 9,000 ante

This table has settled into a rhythm early this level of raise/three-bet/fold, with players taking it in turns to take down pots of 30,000 or so.

Triple Up for Chait

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 9,000 ante

Craig Chait moved his last 43,000 in, called by both Jameson Painter and Matthew Smith. Each player drew a card. Smith ended up with a jack, Painter a king and Chait tabled {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to win the pot an a little breathing room chip-wise.

"Frank! I tripled," Chait called to the other table.

"Excellent," Frank Kassela replied.

"You sound like Mr Burns."
