Fuchs Doubles; Gets Quartered After

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Carol Fuchs doubled her short stack against Shaun Deeb and ended up all in soon after when they got it in after the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} turn.

Deeb rolled over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} for top set and Fuchs had {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. The {6-Hearts} river gave both players the same low and Fuchs was quartered.

"Survive to fight another day," Deeb said in table chat.

Zaichenko Left Short

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

After defending out of the blinds, Sam Higgs check-called bets by Andrey Zaichenko on the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and {9-Diamonds} turn. They checked the {8-Hearts} on the river and Higgs showed {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

With the tournament nearing the money bubble, the split pots kept on coming while Nick Guagenti and Andrew Yeh boosted their stacks.

Paluf Eliminated by Benyamine

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Ryan Paluf opened to 24,000 leaving himself 1,000 behind. David Benyamine just called in the big blind and then put a single 1,000 chip in the middle on the {8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop.

Paluf didn't look happy but eventually flicked his last chip in and was all in.

Ryan Paluf: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
David Benyamine: {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Benyamine had flopped top pair and Paluf would need an ace or running cards. The turn {4-Spades} gave him a low draw but the river {j-Spades} was no help and Paluf was eliminated.

O'Dell With the Nuts Again

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Frankie O'Dell won a bigger pot off Andrew Kelsall and then proceeded to hit the nut low again, but this time David Benyamine escaped and they chopped it up.

O'Dell bet throughout the board {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Benyamine called all streets to get shown the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Benyamine tabled his {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for an equally strong hand and they chopped it up.

"Look what I had, I can't win. I was fucked on the flop, but then I had queens up and he was fucked," Benyamine remarked to Mike Matusow.

"Frankie has the nuts all the time," Matusow added before the next hand was dealt.

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
