Schreiber Eliminated by Amaral

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Matthew Schreiber
Matthew Schreiber

Matthew Schreiber was all in against two players and Chris Amaral bet the river to isolate on the boatd of {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Amaral turned over {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Schreiber immediately asked "that's your high hand?" He double checked his cards, tabled the {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and asked the rail "what do I get?" His friend on the rail leaned over, checked quickly and replied "you get peanuts, you have to use two cards buddy."

Indeed, Schreiber only had queen-five high and that could not beat ace-jack high.

Deeb Busts Vitch

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Chris Vitch
Chris Vitch

Chris Vitch raised and Shaun Deeb called from one seat over. On the {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop both players checked and the {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Vitched checked after plenty of consideration with his stack of 65,000 and Deeb bet, Vitch then moved all in and Deeb called.

Chris Vitch: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The {9-Spades} river was a blank and Vitch was eliminated.

Schreiber Gets Quartered Again

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

The run bad of Matthew Schreiber continues as he got quartered once more to see his stack reduced to fewer than a big bet.

This time he held {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} on a {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board and Robert Mizrachi had {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the same low and straight.

Flanders and Aldridge Chip Up

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Timothy Flanders bet the {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades} river and forced folds from Sam Higgs and Yarron Bendor. "I guess it would have been a bluff," Flanders said and flashed {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

In then next hand on the same table, Ken Aldridge check-called bets by Higgs on the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop and {3-Hearts} turn. Aldridge bet the {k-Clubs} river and Higgs reluctantly called. Aldridge turned over the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Higgs mucked {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

On a {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} board Chris Vitch check-called a bet from Owais Ahmed with Matthew Schreiber all in on the side.

Ahmed showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for the nut low and the nut flush and Vitch mucked. Ahmed showed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low and was quartered.

Matusow Getting Shorter

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Dominik Baud opened and Mike Matusow called in the big blind. Matusow check-called a bet on the {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and the pair checked the {a-Clubs} turn. Matusow bet the {a-Clubs} turn and Baud raised. Matusow thought before calling but was shown {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a wheel to scoop both pots.

Ahmed Takes From Schreiber; Linde From Fuchs

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Matthew Schreiber ended up at risk in a four-bet pot throughout a flop of {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Owais Ahmed looked him up with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the {4-Clubs} turn and {j-Diamonds} river chopped it up.

Schreiber was then quartered by Ahmed soon after on a board of {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Spades} and received one fourth of the pot with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the nut low, as Ahmed had {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} for the nut flush and nut low.

The next hand brought fireworks between Dylan Linde and Carol Fuchs with the former betting throughout a {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs} board. Linde tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for aces up and the nut low, and Fuchs mucked.

Amaral Triples Up

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Chris Amaral
Chris Amaral

Owais Ahmed raised and Matthew Schreiber called, Chris Amaral then three-bet and both opponents called. On the {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Ahmed checked and Schreiber bet, Amaral raised with 12,000 behind and Ahmed reluctantly called. Schreiber also came along and the {j-Clubs} turn was checked to Amaral, who moved all in and picked up two calls.

The {9-Diamonds} river went check, check and Amaral tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for aces up. Ahmed had {a-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and Schreiber won the tiny side pot of just 16,000 with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.
