Hizer Chipping Up

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The player in early position raised to 1,400 and the player in middle position called. Paul Hizer was next up to act and decided to three-bet to 6,000. Action folded back to the initial raiser who folded quite quickly. The mid-position player dived into the tank and ended up folding but showed he held {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Hizer mucked his hand but later claimed he had ace-king.

MacIntyre Sighs

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The player in mid-position raised to 1,200 and was called by the player on the button, the small blind, and Fraser MacIntyre in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, everyone checked to the player on the button who bet 3,000 and only MacIntyre and the initial raiser went along.

The turn was the {6-Hearts}, MacIntyre took some time and then decided to bet 6,500. The initial raiser folded but the player on the button needed some more time before he made the fold in the end. MacIntyre sighed with relief.

Brach Continues to Run Hot Early in the Day

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Justin Brach called the all in of a short-stack that had around 6,000 and the two turned over their cards.

Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Justin Brach: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Brach was now freerolling the last two cards. A {2-Hearts} came on the turn, giving Brach a chance to complete his runner-runner flush and the {7-Hearts} river card did just that.

Brach scooped in the pot with his rivered flush and added another pot to his already healthy stack.
